The Specter Parts Guarantee
We are a sourcing and fulfillment service — not a manufacturer or inventory holder. Here's how warranty coverage works by tier: Tier A parts: If a part doesn't fit due to a verified specification error on our end, we coordinate the return with the supplier at no cost to you. Tier B / C parts: Assessed case-by-case. We advocate on your behalf with the sourcing partner and work toward a resolution. Return window: 30 days from confirmed delivery. Exclusions: Installed parts, consumables (filters, fluids, belts), and any parts that have been modified or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if a part will fit my vehicle?
Every part is assigned a confidence tier based on OEM data and fitment databases. Tier A parts are guaranteed to fit.
How long does delivery take?
Most parts arrive in 2–5 business days depending on source location and your province.
Do you offer returns?
Yes. Tier A parts that don't fit due to an incorrect specification are eligible for return coordination through our sourcing partners within 30 days of delivery.
What is a core charge?
A core charge is a refundable deposit applied to rebuildable parts like alternators, starters, and brake calipers. You pay it at checkout and get it back when you return the old (core) part to us.
How do I get my core deposit back?
Log into your account, go to Order History, and click 'Request Core Return' on the relevant order line. We'll arrange the return. You have 90 days from delivery to initiate a core return.
Which parts carry a core charge?
Remanufactured electrical parts (alternators, starters), brake calipers, power steering pumps/racks, and certain engine or transmission assemblies. The charge is shown clearly on your quote and invoice.
Are duties and brokerage fees included in the quote?
Yes. For US-sourced parts crossing into Canada, all applicable duties and brokerage handling are included in the price we quote you. There are no surprise charges at the door.
